As specialists in the complex and sensitive area of Family Law, Jones Myers Ltd wanted their new office space to have a friendly, warm and confidential feel, with just a nod to their corporate look.
It was important that clients feel comfortable when visiting.
The Ground floor shell comprised of bare breezeblock walls and very little natural light. We Designed and Delivered a light and airy scheme. We retained some of the building fabric features where possible and provided solutions to hide unappealing infrastructure where necessary.
We built comfortable meeting rooms with buffer spaces between for extra confidentiality, lined out the walls, installed a beautiful kitchen, mechanical heating & cooling system and both client and staff welfare facilities.
A large comfortable breakout space was important – a place where the team could relax and use for social collaboration, we also provided a bespoke feature wall which not only gives the opportunity to soften the area with real plants and ornaments but also hides a myriad of unsightly downpipes and services.
We spent time with the client to fully understand how their business works, what practical areas were needed, number of meeting rooms, waiting spaces, workstations etc. We investigated the site thoroughly to ascertain its limitations and possibilities.
Once the scheme was prepared, Jones Myers were then invited to our office where we presented our Design, Finishes and scope.
We agreed costs, programme, and timescales to ensure the client was comfortable with and fully aware of the process prior to starting on site.
The final scheme was undertaken by one of our Building Interiors teams and a dedicated project manager. Completed on time and on budget so that Jones Myers could move in when required.
